Hoarding: Procedure for Hoarding Levels 1-3

The principal issue with Levels 1, 2, and 3 are contents and clutter. The customer will determine how to handle contents (discard, retain, donate, store, reposition, etc.). The scope will likely not include forensic cleaning, the customer may wish to save money by having a maid service do general household cleaning after the hoarding contents are removed.

Depending on the scope, temps may be employed. In such cases, the lead technician has the oversight of the temps and provides necessary direction.

Customer will have to provide access. If restroom cannot be used, a port-a-potty will have to be secured.

PPE will mainly be nitrile gloves. Half-face respirator may also be used.
